Google Chrome (my new browser) doesn't seem to really like my livejournal layout I made way back in high school.
My girlfriend's summer freckles are sooo cute.
I really ought to fix my guitar soon.

Plans for the upcoming week +a few days
Friday the 11th: Get out of class, get in Charle's car, drive home, interview parents about their business for class, collect some small trees, drive home. If it's not too late, go to Hallowed Ground or other piercing studio and get lip pierced.

I just finished rewiring my guitar. My LTD EC-1000 is now custom wired with a kill switch, pickup blend pot, and a series/parallel switch for my bridge pickup after about 3 hours slouching over it with a soldering iron. The signal gets through the way it's supposed to, but I haven't restrung it yet to hear how it sounds.
Man, I need a drink. -

Blarg. I've been working on my guitar all night. It's been a little frustrating. My soldering iron is halfway dead, which makes taking everything apart tedious as hell. I'm out of solder. And it turns out, for some reason, the neck pickup is a 2 conductor wiring setup. Why would they put that in a modern guitar, if 4 conductor is the same price? ( Read more... ) -

For some reason USM Payroll either hates me or loves to see me, because two years in a row I simply haven't been entered in their systems, so I have to go in and say "hey... um... I'd like to be able to enter my time, kthanks." Then I sit around for a half hour, and I get a huge paycheck later.
