Dude, that's a lot of books. American Gods is, by far, one of my favorite books ever, I think you'll really enjoy it, and by the end you'll wish your name was Shadow, because he's so awesome. Unlike most people, I liked Mostly Harmless (its better if you've read Young Zaphod Plays it Safe), so you'll have to tell me how And Another Thing... is (but I'll probably end up buying it anyway). I am a bit worried about a non-Adams author writing it, specifically how they will start the story. If you remember Mostly Harmless ended with the complete destruction of most of the protagonists, and every Earth in every dimension and every possible timeline.
