We're both missing our Wundermutt, The Wee Atomic Beastie, but are looking forward to being scolded by her on Sunday for being gone for so very, very, very long

Red-neck casserole? I take umbrage to that! That is my mom's perennial offering at Thanksgiving....red neck indeed! hmph...
And Hanna Montana is a television show on Disney channel, the main character, Hanna, is played by Mylie Cyruss, daughter of singer and achey breaky dancer Billy-Ray Cyruss, and is hugely popular with the 6-14yo girls.
I meant it as a joke; my mother always made it and it's a staple of our family holiday meals, both Turksgiving and X-mas.
A couple-three years ago, we were putting together a pot-luck Thanksgiving dinner at our last post, in Germany. Madam-Atomic made the famous green-bean casserole (or one of our friends did), and one of the other guests (from DUNDALK, Md., if that means anything to you) called it "redneck" and "trailer."
We are still not amused at her, but we laugh when we call it "redneck" and dig into it every year.
Various of my nieces got lots of HM stuff this year, including a wig (!) and were modeling it for us. I think I've actually seen an episode or two of this, but I was sober so it's a little unclear to me.
I am glad that it is but a joke, I figured as much and my umbrage was somewhat in the humourous vein as well...
I am truely sorry that you may or may not have been exposed to Hanna Montana, it is like most of the other dreck which is offered to our youngin's over the TV waves...
Merry Christmas, Boxing Day, Epiphany, King's Day, Kwanza, Festivus and Hanuka, and any other thing which may be celebrated in this time of year. Hope you are having a great New Year's Bash as well, I intend to :)
