putting up a show right before prepping to leave the country is insane and stressful. next time i should allow atleast 2 weeks if not 2 months to pass before doing something like this again.

hey anida... my bad, we never did get to do dinner or drinks before you left... but i was exhausted from 2 weeks of entertaining/hosting out-of-town family, and you needed time w/your hubby anyways =) anyways, as i told you at the show.. more than anything, i was so proud to see you doing what you've been wanting to do on that stage. i was amazed by your energy, the physicality of the performance, and scared by your monster voice/faces hehe..j/k. nah, but for real woman... your show was amazing, and it was obvious how close to your heart all that work was. being that i do not know the history and struggles of your cambodia, i can't say i could necessarily connect with it, but that was surpassed by your stage presence, which still grabbed and moved me. sounds cheesy, but it's true. your performance is definitely something you should be proud of, and i can't believe you did it for 3 nights in a row!!! pat yourself on the back, and i'll even allow you to make up a wack pun in honor of it =) congrats anida!

hey- this is leah, i just friended you. i'm not in chicago, but the photoes are haunting and beautiful, and I'm so glad you're getting to rock it.

if you ever feel like bringing it to toronto, have you heard of the hysteria fest? supposedly the largest women's performance fest in north america, and they pay good. http://www.buddiesinbadtimestheatre.com/events/event.cfm?i_key=5.

damn nice pics. seoul is an interesting place...and they should feel you. although it's become very fashion conscious and somewhat superficial, it's still wrapped around a heavy hearth of han that still beats...and beats deep. we understand oppression, split families, and ours killing ours. and it's a great place to eat up 2 in the morning.
