Welcome back, anida. I truly enjoyed your postings and your photos from the trip. Cambodia looks like such a beautiful country with beautiful people. I hope you survive the return to the mundane...and the ice and snow.

3. try to leave chicago when it's much colder so i don't have to deal with freezing my ass off when i return

yeah this is exactly what I've been doing the last few years avoiding/missing most of the snow and cold in Toronto. Now I've lost all my tolerance to the cold......This morning I was shivering so bad I couldn't stop myself and I know this winter I am so screwed.....

9. there is a huge difference between bangkok and phnom penh. it's the difference between a nation who's enjoyed peace and one that is just learning to survive the peace.
10. there is a huge difference between seoul and phnom penh. it's the difference between being adopted and being bombed by america.
