I've liked the stuff on ShockOut... especially the bits I've heard of the Ghislain Poirier material (Québecois ragga tracks!)... I don't know if it's anything new, but it's been making me happy.

as far as new or interesting genres go... well, i dont know what half the shit is called or even how old some of it is, but! ive been really digging on the german drum.n.bass thats spliced with bits of ragga and breakcore/hardcore. dj g-i-s from http://www.intransigent.de plays/makes some good stuff. ive also really been into the style of shit that bong-ra has been doing lately (check "conquering lion"), and the new enduser ("manouvres") is outlandish!! pretty much the hard as fuck dub beats layered with tight and complex breaks, with the ragga vocals and basslines (though more distorted and noisy) over it all. its awesome shit, and theres been ears getting acustomed to it lately.
