i actually wish i could just syndicate my feed straight into this journal instead of into atomly_syn. i guess i could integrate my rss generation script with charm or something and have that post instead.

Well, the whole reason I switched was so I didn't have to blog through the web, but that seems dumb in retrospect. I am happy with my blog on atomly.com now, though.
