16 Hours Until the Kingston Classic 10k (My First Race)

So I just got back from a 5 mile run, gearing myself up for the Kingston Classic 10k. This is my first race, and I'm not looking for a record time or placement, so much as I'm looking to finish in the first place. Good luck!

I am totally defective when it comes to running (so I'm an avid walker instead), but do admire those that can handle it and find enjoyment. Go get that medal!

Ha ha, thank you! I never started running until 18 months ago, but I'm starting to get into it. It's a nice way to let off some steam after a crazy day at work, not to mention a great way to get me up and moving when I'm wasting my day away.

I think walking can do the same thing. Sometimes it's good to get outside and recharge after spending so much time at a desk, or in front of a screen, you know?

Thanks for the well wishes! A medal would rock, but simply not dieing will be more than enough for me. :)
