Re: Music

I get the same thing. I find a treasure trove of sound and people just don't get it. So I've decided I'm just smarter than most of the people around me and much cooler. I accept that they'll like a band in a year and I'll smile, nod and be into the next thing.

Well, see, what I was implying, although not really articulated well, was a parallel to dating / relationships that get's lost because mayhaps one person or another just isn't at the right state of mind to link up with the other at the same time. Music is frustrating, although you can always take sollace in a superiority. But when that's found in relationships, no one is the winner there. The consolation is void.

what band is it? I curious. as for the dating sites theyre ok, thats how i met my current GF.what you have to do is to put yourself forward & have a open mind about who youd date, most peopel just dont reply back either because they are picky/ stuck up or are bombarded with all kinds of skeevy old men looking for hookups

There are many of them. My friend just got into The Arctic Monkeys, which I told him about 2 or 3 years ago, b/c I thought it was a sound he could enjoy. Another, more recent band, is The Dear Hunter, which I think is the best thing since butter on toast. Alison liked them, but I'm afraid to show them to people, for fear that they won't see it.
