Cap'n Long John Lu acquires the finest pirate booty his crew has ever gotten.

“Hoist the flags!” Cap’n Long John Lu shouts as he carries the captive on his shoulders back to his cabin. He’s seen the way his men looked at the beauty he snagged and he definitely does not want anyone near it. “Hornigold Myun, on the wheel and Glass-Eyed Xing, come with me!”

“Aye Cap’n!” the crew shouts in reply and everybody gets to work, hoisting the sails so that they can move out of Mermaids’ Cove as soon as possible. It’ll be hell once the merpeople discover that their princeling has been taken as booty.

The captain lays his catch on his bed, eyeing the gold scales covering the merprince’s tail. He wonders if the gold scales can be sold for actual money but the thought dissolves on its own when he finally gets a good look of the prince’s face. This must be the best booty his crew has acquired to date.

“Cap’n,” Glass-Eyed Xing calls out, standing at the door of his cabin.

“You got the potion?” Cap’n Long John Lu asks and as much as they’ve been around each other, he still can’t help but stare at the way Glass-Eyed Xing’s glass eye on the left socket wobble with every step he takes.

“The witch says there’s nothing more effective than this,” Glass-Eyed Xing says, passing the bottle to the captain.

“And it’s irreversible?”

“Yes, only she can undo the spell.”

“Very well, you may go,” Long John Lu says, locking the door right after Glass-Eyed Xing leaves. He doesn’t want any of his crew disturbing him for the night.

He climbs on his bed next to the unconscious merprince and shifts him so that his head lies in Long John Lu’s lap. Lu tilts his head back and forces the potion down little by little, careful not to waste a drop in case it’ll be less effective. He waits but it doesn’t take long before the scales start to magically disappear and the flesh beneath is revealed, before the tail splits into two and human legs starts to form.

Long John Lu watches with glee as the merprince is left naked on his bed and his legs are as milky white as the rest of his body. In between his newly formed legs, lies his cock soft against his thigh and Long John Lu salivates just with the thought of having it in his mouth.

The slits on his throat starts to close up and the transformation is complete. The merprince starts to stir awake, if the little twitches in his fingers are any indication and Lu steps away from the bed, starting to undress himself so that he can welcome the little prince into the human world as soon as possible.

“What-“ Long John Lu smiles at the prince’s confusion and the way his eyes widen when he sees that the captain is as naked as a new born baby. The scream afterwards doesn’t come as a surprise when the prince realises that his tail is gone and he has full human features now.

“What did you do? You beast! Where am I?’ Long John Lu can’t wait to hear that voice scream even louder later.

“Me buxom beauty, ye aboard the finest pirate ship in the seven seas, the Black pearl, and I’m Cap’n Long John Lu,” the captain bows, his smile only getting bigger. “Ye mine now me beauty and ye the finest pirate booty I’ve ever laid me eyes on.

“M’sorry if this is too soon, but would ye mind if I fired me cannon through ye porthole?” Long John Lu asks-says really because it doesn’t matter what the prince answers-giving his hips a little twitch so that the prince doesn’t misunderstand his intention.

Long John Lu watches in amusement as the prince tries to look for something, probably to cover himself or to throw at him but when he realises there’s nothing he can use, his eyes flicks to the door the way Long John Lu knows it will. In an instant, the prince tries to get off the bed, heading for the door but his feet folds under him and he falls to the floor, face first.

Silly creature Long John Lu thinks. He is not yet accustomed to his human legs so it’ll take a while before he can run away from Lu. Besides, where can he go?

“C’mere me beauty,” Long John Lu approaches the prince, carrying him back to bed when he’s had his fun watching the prince struggle on the floor.

“Now, we’re going to have a little fun,” Lu laughs when the prince’s eyes stare at his hand working up and down his length. “Like what ye see? They don’t call me Long John Lu because of my big head.”

The prince swallows before he scrambles backwards as Lu approaches but before Lu can climb on the bed, the bell is rang and that only happens when there is danger. Cursing, Long John Lu quickly dresses before grabbing some rope to tie the prince’s hands and legs together.

“Stay here me beauty. That’s the alarm bell and ye don’t want to be anywhere near the danger,” Long John Lu says before locking the prince in his room.

“Cap’n! The Flying Wretch Man is headed this way. Looks like he’s on his Kraken with his ship right behind him!” their lookout Kai Pantin’ Cutty says when Long John Lu approaches.

“Arrrr, smartly get into ye battle positions! Prepare the harpoon for the Kraken. Let’s take ‘em down!” Long John Lu shouts receiving a loud series of ‘Arrrrrr’ in response.

Looking through his telescope, Lu can see The Flying Wretch Man headed towards them at full speed. They’ve always been rivals, competing for the next piece of treasure but he can’t believe that they’re already here so soon.

“Rancid Hand Tao! Command your men to ready the cannons!”

Minseok struggles in his restraints, he can hear loud explosions coming from deck and if the ship is under attack, this is his best chance at trying to escape. He might not be in his mermen form but he’s been at sea his whole life. He tries to look for something to cut the ropes with but it seems like Cap‘n Long John Lu has thought this out and there’s nothing within reach.

A loud screech rings in the air and Minseok lies frozen in place. He knows that screech, it is the Kraken. He’s never actually seen one but he’s read all about it from the collection of royal scrolls. He remembers all the battle his fearless mermen has had defending their kind from the Kraken from before he was born. Now he is really doomed. If the Kraken is in the surrounding waters, there is no way Minseok will survive even if he manages to escape the ship. The Kraken will discover him and kill him on sight.

The ship starts to rock and Minseok can feel the impact of multiple hits against all sides of the ship. It is as though the enemy is surrounding them from all directions and that is when Minseok realises that it is the Kraken attacking the ship with its tentacles. The realisation comes a little too late when the windows shatter and a tentacle breaks into the cabin, Minseok screaming as the Kraken reaches for him, wrapping around his body and he blacks out from fear.

Minseok wakes up on a soft surface, something even softer on top of him and he wonders if he’s in the merpeople paradise but then he hears chatter around him and he starts to open his eyes. There are humans surrounding him and that’s when he knows he’s not dead. He is in a cabin, but this one is much different from the one he was in before. Minseok can’t believe his luck, this is the second time in a day that he’s woken up in a stranger’s bed.

“Who are you?” the man sitting by the foot of the bed asks. He’s the only one in the room in a state of undress, without a shirt on and Minseok definitely does not notice the muscles rippling as he moves.

“I am not obliged to tell you who I am,” Minseok tries to say with as much authority in his voice as he can muster. After being nabbed by pirates and a Kraken, there’s nothing more he fears and even if he is to die, he will do so honourably as a member of the royal family.

“I’m captain of this ship, we call her Thunder Phoenix. I am Yeol Kidd Burns and this is my valued crew, Crimson Dyo, Smarmy Bart Hun, Jean Chen Bones and Half-Baked Hyun,” Yeol says, introducing all his trusted mates.

“What were a beauty like ye doing on the Black Pearl? I don’t remember you as one of the crew.”

“I’m not part of the crew!” Minseok says, holding his head high because how dare these mere humans compare him to their cradle robbing selves. “I was captured and held captive against my own wishes-“

“A prisoner in the captain’s room?” Crimson Dyo asks. “Everyone knows Captain Long John Lu keeps his prisoners in the basement. You must be precious to him to be kept in the cabin.”

“We came hunting for gold but we got ourselves the Cap’n lass instead,” Smarmy Bart Hun says and Minseok can see where he got his name because the way he is staring lewdly makes Minseok really uncomfortable.

“I’ll have you know I am no one’s lass. I am the prince of the merpeople and your kind has poisoned me to become this filthy thing that I am now!” Minseok is starting to lose his patience. He doesn’t want anyone here getting any ideas like Long John Lu had.

Yeol Kidd Burns stands up and Minseok’s stomach lurches because he didn’t notice how much bigger he is, not to mention he has the Kraken on his side. Even the merpeople are afraid of the Kraken and he’s never heard of a mere human who can control it. Well, except one-

“Wait. You’re the one everyone calls The Flying Wretch Man,” Minseok whispers, staring blatantly now, “Well, you’re not what I expected.”

“More like The Flying Retch Man,” Half-Baked Hyun says.

The others laugh and unlike with Cap’n Long John Lu, this set of crew doesn’t seem frightened by their captain even if he has the Kraken under his influence.

“That’s what you get when you drink a whole barrel of rum. Retching through town and leaving quite an impression,” Crimson Dyo says and it almost looks like Yeol Kidd Burns is afraid of him. Maybe Minseok should ask how he got his name because it eerily reminds him of blood. Or maybe it’s better not to ask, Minseok quickly thinks when Crimson Dyo glares at him when he catches Minseok staring.

“I think that’s enough,” Yeol Kidd Burn says and this time, his voice rings loud and clear in the cabin. For the first time, Minseok notices the deep rich tone and it makes him shiver.

“I think our guest is tired, we’ll leave you to rest, little prince. Unlike on the Black Pearl, we don’t hold anyone prisoner so you are free to go but we’re in the middle on the ocean though if you’re really who you claim to be, I’m sure you can swim just fine,” Yeol laughs and Minseok wasn’t paying attention to much of what he said that he didn’t even get angry over the captain calling him little.

But then sadness engulfs him and he pulls the blanket up to his neck when it dawns on him how far away he is from home and he doesn’t even know if he can turn back to his original form.
