I'm so glad you're having such a great period!

It means that our meeting tomorrow morning will be less fraught with contentiousness!

"The trick is, when you have spent 35 years paying attention to all of the things you suck at -- it takes a while to really figure out your strengths. I mean, I just haven't seen them."

I can relate to this and what you wrote under 'understanding' on so many levels.

I'm glad things are getting better for you, may you continue along this path. <3

This is AWESOME! I'm so glad the books helped AND that you are posting about it. A lot of times I'll recommend something and it never gets followed up on. It's good to know that it worked for you.

I am so glad you are changing your perspective on these things! I was diagnosed when I was 9, and I was told that seeing a therapist was not a bad thing, etc. I never had the personal stigma because my parents worked really hard to make sure I understood that I was good at some things, and some things were harder for me. But it's hard to get to that place on your own.

Please keep posting! It is great to hear about your SUCCESSES!

Yay! that's great.

I'd be interested if you have any recommendations on books on ADD/ADHD btw. I'm still pondering whether or not mom might have it.

We're about to sign up for classes at the center for the childbearing year. I'm at 15 weeks and finally feeling better. so yay for a feeling good week!

*hugs*
