he gave me a promise ring instead of asking me to marry him because he didn't have the proposal planned out yet. and that's fine with me. when he asks, i'll be ready to say yes. i know it's coming and i'm in no rush really. he wants it to be perfect and so do i, so i'll give him all the time he wants.
