Putting the "dark" back in "dark fantasy"

I wrote a thing for Dragon Age: Origins. After thirty years, the Calling has come for her. Rated M for lots of blood and a graphic death. Alistair/FemCousland. This is written with the (head cannon) assumption that the Dark Ritual with Morrigan removes the taint from Alistair, and before anything from the new comic might influence canon.

i really liked this. it's a nice idea of what could have been and your description is well done and creates nice visuals. i also like how you referred to the characters as 'he' or 'she' which allows me to insert my own wardens names a nice touch which helps me relate more to the fem/warden.

can't wait to read more. :)

Thank you! I find I enjoy DA fics more when the characters are kept as vague as possible. We all have such a strong attachment to our favorite wardens that it just makes it easier. :) (Cousland isn't my favorite, though; Tabris is. Cousland just lends herself to stories better.)

As for more, I have something post this planned with Alistair. He's so delicious when he's broken and helpless. (From a writing perspective, that is!) This will motivate me to write it sooner rather than later. :)
