If people have been trapped here for months... if the monster has been making Manhattan its home, and no one has been getting in and out...
How is it that there is fresh food found miraculously in the city?
Not that I'm complaining.
It's just something weird to think about.

Maybe it thinks we're too gamey.

Naaa.... Maybe it has good house manners and is just misinterpreted.

Despite the fact that it's supposedly alright, I'm still wary to just...gobble it up.
It's not that I don't trust the people... I don't trust my surroundings.
Are people absolutely sure this is Manhattan in 2008?

The only proof we have of the time is what these clocks on the computer say as well as the last copies of newspapers that at least give us a year. It's hard for me to say anything on the matter since there is no place called Manhattan where I'm from.

Or an experiment.
I'm somewhat familiar with that idea. I'm from a time when Manhattan wasn't this advanced... nowhere was. So I guess my paranoia stems from that, too.
It's nice to see someone else is suspicious, though. Good on you for using your brain.

Perhaps the dimensional travel has a weird effect on certain areas of the city. Perhaps people aren't the only thing being pulled into Manhattan. It merits further investigation.

I just get this feeling that this isn't where... people think it is.

Really?

Maybe the monster and her children aren't the real enemies here.
But that might just be my paranoia talking. ♥
