Actually he is no longer in the running. Wish he were though! Here's what he posted on the FP message board about the whole thing:

I’m very proud to say that we were able to raise all the money to file and were able in 24 hours to get most of the signatures! Right now I’m very busy reorganizing my campaign for next time. Even though I didn’t make it, I’m very satisfied about the results. I could see how many people cared and were willing to help. I had a great time and learned a lot. Next time I will be more prepared and start earlier in order to get all the signatures. I'm currently exploring my options to run for a local government office in Los Angeles. Thank you so much The common California man and future Governor of California Brent Muscat
I just happened to run across the article when I did a search in Yahoo for Brent Muscat ... I was trying to show a friend who didn't know what he looked like that killer grin! I almost shit bricks when I saw the article about him running for office!!
This gives me time to move to LA so that I can vote! *snicker*
Everyone needs to appreciate the Brentness! He could only use registered Republicans to sign his petition - so if you arent one you'd better convert ;)
