So -- I decided that I need to start writing down some of my experiments so that if they work, I can repeat them. :) I know, I should have started this YEARS ago rofl ... Roh-Rell ...
Tonight, I finally found some Lamb stew meat at HEB.

pinch ground cayenne
little ground thyme
pinch ground ginger
pinch ground cumin
garlic salt
"garlic/spice salt alternative mix"

Thyme Leaves (little)
Rosemary (fair amt)
Ground Corriander
Garlic Powder
Minced Garlic
Garlic Salt
Ground Pepper
Marjoram
Italian Seasonings (litte)
Fluid Mix:
1 beef boullian/approx 1 chicken boullian
3/4 cup Becker Malbec
Toss Worsh.
Rest water up to 1 & 3/4 c
Tossed in the lamb meat & shook to coat the meat
Browned in oil
Tossed Veggies into the Crock Pot
Sprinkled Spice Mix over the Veggies
Added browned meat
Poured Fluid mix over the whole shebang
Cooking on low until I wake up in the am ... approx 8 hours.
I'm probably missing spices, & I don't use measuring tools for my spices ... so I've tried to indicate approx amts. (Yes, I'm one of *those* cooks! Drives my mom nuts, since she wants my "recipe" for italian dressing ... unfortunately, it is never the same twice, despite being "amazingly simple" to me! lol)
I'm really trying to not use the SAME spice mix everytime! lol I have sporadic luck with that ...
(PS ... for now, leaving this open to more than friends as an experiment as well! lol
