I had a similar experience with Sunday night all-you-can-eat-if-you-just-wait-long-enough sushi about a year ago at New Dumpling House. 45 min between plates (including waiting for the first one), and I maxed out at 3 plates. They gave me the same line about only one sushi chef and of course it'll be right out. As the first (and last) sushi experience I have had there, I didn't think the quality was above what I would have gotten at Giant Eagle.

So I also do not recommend New Dumpling House for sushi. Go up the street, pay more per person (they don't have an "all-you-can-eat" deal), and enjoy Chaya's sushi. SO GOOD. And the service is friendly. Definitely worth the price.

I won't be going back there for sushi, but New Dumpling House does have half-decent American-Chinese food. I haven't had a bad experience with that yet.
