Wow, I love the Match Game so much. It's so gloriously 70's that Gene Rayburn (the host) sports a cold sore with as little shame as Charles Nelson Reilly's neck scarf.

Actually, it reminds me of when I went as Charlton Heston in Soylent Green for Halloween one year. That was a sweet costume.

"MATCH GAME" I think is my favorite game show ever, the one that I always dreamed of becoming famous enough to appear on (with "HOLLYWOOD SQUARES" a close second). I always liked describing myself as a Gen-X Charles Nelson Reilly in interviews; he was a groovy, funny, well-dressed cat. Have you seen the film THE LIFE OF REILLY? It's a taped performance of his one-man show where he talks about his crazy parents, the Actor's Studio, and lots of stuff; what a smart man.

I read his biography on wikipedia. Match Game truly is the best game show. People just don't know man.
