Today was the first day of Lisa's (my boss) Weekly Rock N' Roll Monday. Once every Monday morning somebody brings in a song and plays it for the office. Lisa requested something totally random that everyone would know.
I brought in William Shatner and played Common People. It was a big hit.

I'm so glad Crash won! Ever since seeing it last winter I was hoping it would. It was the best movie in the category. If you haven't seen this movie see it! It's so important.

I was listening to NPR on my way to work today when a short program came on talking about high school drop-outs. Apparently the Bill and Melinda Gates fund hired some researchers to take on the task of redefining what causes a student to drop-out. The problem with listening to the shuffle mode on my Ipod is that every time a Damien Rice song comes on I have to stop the shuffle and listen to every song of his that I have.

clicking a yes or no box on over 360,000 check boxes tends to drive one quite mad.
