Oh my god, it's almost cherry blossom season.
Who wants to go on a picnic with me at the UW this year to bask in cherry blossom bliss? I just have to warn you, I'm a bit fanatical about them so be prepared.

I have a connection in the family that buys Vespa-type scooters at cost (which is around $600). With the tax refund it's so tempting. So now there's a war in my head between practicality and frivolousness, we'll see who wins. But come on, couldn't you just see me zippin' around town on a hot pink scooter???

Did somebody get me a subscription to VegNews and completely fail to tell me? I've been getting it in the mail and it's awesome so somebody deserves a hug!

I only say this once a year but I love my government.
I'm getting an $800 refund for 2004. I know to some of you it might not sound that big but it's a fortune to me.
I'm going to spend part of it on my debt consolidation (so I can be debt free by age 30) and the rest is going to school. Yay!!

Being totally ill at work is the worst thing ever. As a temp we work on a point system and I've already used all my points so I can't leave. Ugh, I just want to lay on a cold tile floor next to a toilet.

Sometimes I wish that I was still a little naive like I was when I was seventeen. When I know something is wrong I have an obligation to do something about it but my voice is only heard when I'm in a position of power. No surprise really, that's just how life works ( Read more... )
