People tend to overreact to things without actually thinking about them. I didn't say anything until I did my research on it, and this post is pretty much all I do have to say.

The Russian hate-mongering sounds like definite butthurt to me.

wow... so everyone was panicking for all the wrong reasons... i kept thinking that LJ wouldn't just do this since there are a whole shitload (tons more like) of slash fics in here... if they ban every user that has posted such fics, they'd probably lose more than half of their subscribers...

thank you for your explanation of this issue by the way~ i now understand and i don't have to go into panic mode anymore... ^^

Yeah, haha. :) On top of this, I've learned that the servers LiveJournal is hosted on are also located in the United States. Russian hate-mongering aside (which is not okay), even if this were true, I'm fairly certain it would not be legally permitted.

Haha, it's all good. :) ♥ I'm just waiting on my beta reader now and I don't want to rush her, though I do know she is terribly busy with college. I can't promise how soon it will be posted, but it's definitely finished. :D

I hope so, too. I'm still seeing this get tossed around places and I'm still getting messages about this issue on the mod account. I think I may have to cross-post this to Detox.

I think I saw an update from the official lj staff now too. It's really amazing how much panic can one person cause, lol.
