Thank you! I'm still going to be around and reading and helping out with the communities that I maintain, but as of this post I am no longer writing for fandom. I regret that there are many things that have yet to see a resolution and one day I may come back to finish them, but right now it's not a priority for me. :)

and another one says goodbye... well, in this case, it's technically retiring from writing for the fandom. :) it is, i believe, an important step in taking that step forward and moving on to greater things... in your case, it's becoming a writer beyond that of the fandom. to look at it another way, it's like your on-the-job training has come to an end and you're now ready to take on the real world. ;)

i'm sad to see you go, but i shouldn't be selfish because i think there will come a day that i'll be doing something similar too. :)

i'd like to thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us and wish you the best of luck in your future ventures :)

btw, if i may ask, what have you done with your work here in LJ? have you removed them or have you just made them private? just curious~^^

I'm still going to be around fandom because I have too many friends and I just love reading fics so much, and there's a couple of communities that I maintain, however my presence will significantly lessen as I focus more and more on writing my original idea. I regret that there are fics I have that may never be completed (I never wanted to be one of those writers...but here I am u_u), but it's not a concern for me right now. :))

My fics are still open to the public, I've just got my journal set to display only one entry at a time. I mean to revamp my masterlist at one point but never got around to it, so my intro post looks all bland and empty. u_u Welp.

I feel so sad after reading your post. This is all nostalgic.
But I understand. We can't live in the dream forever. Reality might be calling us some day, but we can still have a dream sometimes - but not living in it anymore. (I think I make my words so confusing, anyway!)
Your works here are wonderful. And I believe that your original stories will be as amazing, or even more, as them too :)

We can indeed continue to dream. :) I'm not 100% leaving fandom, it's just that my presence will be lessening significantly. I've still got great friends I'd like to keep in contact with and communities to maintain, but I am no longer writing for fandom. I regret that I will be leaving a few fics unfinished (I never wanted to be one of those writers either...damn it LOL), but finishing them isn't a priority for me right now. I may or may not return in the future to finish them...but no promises. :)

I've been part of the K-pop fandom for over five years now, and I've loved every single moment of it nor do I regret any of the time I've spent here. However, I believe that my time here as a writer is done and that I'm ready to move on. As someone posted above in their comment, my on the job training is done. ;) That's not to say that I'm leaving fandom completely, I still have a lot of friends that I'd love to keep in contact with and communities to maintain. I do regret leaving behind some fics unfinished, I must admit, but they're no longer of any interest or priority to me right now. I truly appreciate that you've enjoyed my fics thus far, but from here on out I must go my own way. I hope you'll find plenty of lovely JoongShim fics to read in the future!! ♥
