Johnny felt like his chest was caving in, and he tried desperately to take in air. Blind fury was racing through his veins, but he couldn't find a way to say what he thought -- his voicebox had quit working. He did the only thing he could think to do that didn't involve speaking, and he turned and started to run. He didn't care which direction he was going in, he just ran.
