I think it had a lot more to do with his mental disorders and extreme anger than a world that isolated him due to race.

I would imagine deep depression more than anger, and there has to be something really wrong with you to want to hurt others in order to leave a mark.

V. Tech definitely has a Korean Student Assocation, so I don't think it was racial alienation. I really hate the way shootings get so racialized. There a lot of things, such as socioeconomic status and daily stress that contributes to temperament more than race.

Especially in a college setting, Asians really are not much of a minority.

There has been a new trend amongst middle-class and predominately Caucasion teenagers, where they kill homeless people and attack in groups of 2-4. It's just something very sick and wrong with their brain, where they imagine violence as glorified and empowering.

V TECH was fucked up. It really would take a lot to put yourself where he was mentally. I don't think i could do it. The whole situation was handled so poorly it was no wonder so many people were killed. Apperantly he was able to buy all the guns and ammo himself and had time in between killing to run to the post office. There was a 2 hr time gap where nothing was done, he was sold these weapons even though he is mentally unstable and he posted a threat on the school forum that he was going to kill people that day. Someone fucked up big time and it wasn't just his parents.
