And the Musical Heavens greet another Maestro

Being woken up by the news first thing this morning was a jolt strong enough to wake me up. Pavarotti has left the the boards of this world to join the musicians on the heavenly stage. A brilliant talent and a wonderful musician, now released form earthy pains he will be able to sing again.

I doubt I need to give a run down of this Maestro's work

Wow, I didn't even know he was sick. How sad, but you put it so well, I'm glad you have that perspective, you brought a tear to my eye. His music was beautiful. Wow. Shocked.

I was sorry to hear about his passing. He brought so much enjoyment to so many opera fans around the world, and I always thought he was someone who enjoyed life. Farewell.

In addition to that amazing voice, the sheer joy he seemed to have in his music and his life is what I best remember.
