Any favorite books on gentle discipline? Bonus points if I can find it at my library or for cheap on half.com. So far I've had Connection Parenting recommended to me, but I can't find it at either of those places.

The Dr. Sears book called Gentle Discipline is good, also Adventure's in Gentle Discipline is great and you can borrow it from your local LLL group if they have a copy.

I really want that Unconditional Parenting book. I wonder if it's at our library.

It's not all the way to gentle discipline, but I like Happiest Toddler on the Block. And I like Playful Parenting, even though I haven't read very far in it yet.

I'm reading "Discipline without Distress" by Judy Arnall at the moment and its a great book. All the others listed here I've browsed through as well and they all hold similar philosophies.

I was going to say the same as someone else, you're local LLL (if they have a decent library built up) might have many of these books available to borrow!
