Portland vignette short stories writing idea is on backburner temporarily as i try to figure out both how i want my november pulp novel to go and what i should do if they pick my one act for the SOAP's.  Its a Reader's Theatre staged reading style deal in the blackbox so i would not get the satisfaction of a "Mainstage" sort of ordeal but I want it

wow, they've really downgraded the student-writtens. that sucks. although it could still be cool. i've seen some awesome reader's theatre.

Kent basically made sure that nobody else in the faculty wanted to put the student writtens on the mainstage anymore.

don't they ... there's a difference between writing & directing, and the quality of one can differ radically from the other?

i hate USM so much.
