A friend of mine was on a bus, and noticed something strange had lodged itself into a space between the seat and the wall behind the driver. It was a notebook, that looked important and sure enough, it was. Containing the original, notarized etc. marriage certificate, for a fellow who also kept his - are they called naturalization papers? Feel free. It was simply a delight. It was, I think, after 10:30 pm when we finally found them, but for some reason, I don't think they were bothered by the time of night. We had rehearsal! :)

Hey, that was me/us! I just found this while checking out your Aurora Chorus post on damnportlanders. Bothered by the time of night - hardly! It was like a couple of angels showed up on our doorstep. We've mentally thanked you guys countless times since, and share the story often. It was great meeting your friend, and I'm glad to have the opportunity to thank you, also.
