Sony used to make good things...years ago, I think they decided they didn't have to bother making good things, their brand was "established." I'm glad someone else called them out on it. This actually reminds me of when my father bought a dvd-rw drive from Sony back when they were relatively new (like 300 bucks worth of new) and we had to send it to them like 3 times to get a replacement because it kept f'ing up; worst off we had to pay for the shipping each time.
