Who: Gunn, Wes
When: Afternoon
Where: Wes's Place
What: Checking on Wes and seeing his little nephew
Status: Closed and Finished
Gunn was a little bored and, when he got bored, he usually got into trouble. So, instead of waiting for the inevitable, he decided to, for once in his life, think ahead and prevent himself from doing so. Oh gasp and shock, as Cordy might say. He figured that a visit with his buddy Wes was in order. They had a few things to talk about, anyway, one thing being the nifty little Orb that he now had in his possession. There was little that Gunn personally could do with it, so it was better to talk to the resident smart guy and see what he had to say about it.
Of course, Gunn wanted to do more than just deal with business. As always, he wanted to check in with Wes and see how he was doing. Wanted to make sure that he was taking care of himself. After all this time, he still put everyone else's needs ahead of his own, and kind of forgot about himself in the shuffle. He just wanted to give Wes the little prod that he usually needs to take a little time to himself and maybe, just maybe, have a little fun in the process.
Gunn wanted to see Max, too. Not to check on him, because Wes took great care of him, but just to see him and play with him. Gunn himself liked kids. It was nice to see someone that was still an innocent in the grand scheme of life. Gunn never really got to be that way himself, so he wanted to preserve the childhoods of others.
Gunn knocked on Wes's door and waited for him to answer. Hopefully, he was actually there and not *too* busy to answer the door at the moment. Kids, while fantastic, could be very distracting at times, and Wes could bury his head in a book like no one else.
