As Cordy and Wes went outside to deal with the girl screaming and crying in their backyard, Gunn turned to look at the living room. The place was an absolute mess, with shit laying around everywhere, and some very expensive looking furniture in several pieces all over the floor. Gunn was pretty sure that it was going to cost some serious money to replace everything in here, and knew that Cordy and Wes would appreciate it if *someone* tried to clean this place up a bit before they called in the professional cleaners to really fix up the rest of it. Gunn might be able to pick up furniture, but there was no way that he could get some of those stains out of the carpet.
Plus, cleaning this place up would give Angel something else to think about right now, which he oh so desperately needed, by the look on his face as he crouched in the dark corner that he could find in this place. For someone who was supposed to be on the path of redemption, he was certainly still hanging in dark corners a lot. Probably had something to do with keeping doing the same things that he knew or something, but right now skulking wasn't going to get anything around here done.
"Come on, Angel," he said to him. "Come out of the corner already and help me clean this place up some." He looked toward the living room. "You know that we're going to have to deal with the wrath of Cordy once she gets a good and hard look at this place if we don't try and pick some of this crap up before she gets back in here." At least getting the bigger pieces out of the way should keep her head from spinning too much.
