I am a chicken person as well. I have tried the veggie thing to but I still crave chicken. After I seen how cows actually live on a farm I have a hard time eating beef. Once when I seen a whole pig cooked on a barbecue, I didn't eat pork for over a year :/

I feel much better sleeping and getting over my allergic reaction so I'm in a good mood right now.
Anyways, i'm lucky because my blood type is A negative so I don't really need meat to be healthy(the book 'Eat Right For Your Type' explains it) but I grew up on chicken and its hard. When I desided I wanted to be a vegetarian I thought "Oh it will be easy, I'll just not eat chicken" If only I knew.
My mom went to a slaughter house when she was in college and was a vegetarian for fourteen years. Apparently its really horrible. There was this study done that my mom told me about where it proved that the stress that the animals felt in the slaughter house somehow changed their meat for worse. I can't remember how exactly. I'll ask her again.
If your going to eat meat(my mom is sick right now so she does) the best you can do is get free range chicken and eggs and grass fed beef(I don't think they have free range beef exactly, but grass fed is better than straw fed. Happier cow, healthier cow, its better for everyone)
