I also really enjoyed Cap and also also spent a good chunk of time trying to figure out how to mentally fit Isaiah into moviecanon. :(

I mean, I guess he fits pretty neatly? He's just. Going and doing and all of the horribleness before where the movie starts.

Except for that little problem of the doctor with the serum is different and also nice wtf, not at all the type I'd suspect of, y'know, experimenting on a whole bunch of people and killing the rest of them and sometimes making them explode from their own blood or anything. So. That's a problem.

If I know nothing about Captain America, do you think I'd enjoy it anyways?

I am pretty sure you'd enjoy it! It's got a solid story, told well. It gives you all the info you need to understand, so you don't have to be buried in 70+ years of comics history to get it. Also, it is extremely well cast and you will spend the movie going OH HEY IT'S THAT GUY and also Hugo Weaving is fantastic as the villain AS PER USUAL.

So yes, I think you'd like it. It is not the deepest most thinky-brain movie ever, but it is thoroughly enjoyable and you will definitely be entertained. :D
