Good Evening,
I recently purchased several items from two different Etsy sellers. I am completly satisfied/happy with both sellers and my purchases! Here is the following review:
I purchased a commission via this post
http://egl-comm-sales.livejournal.com/19150168.html from ashleyrose_egl who is an Etsy seller (
http://www.etsy.com/shop/AshleyRoseEGL is her shop). She was very pleasent to deal with, listened to my requests and asked/gave a lot of advice on the commission!
. I was very appreciative of her professionalism and knowledge. I purchased 1 blue fawn collar, 1 pair of blue fawn anklets complete with pin on white bows, and 1 blue fawn headdress.
All pieces laid out to show the nice variation of the fawn pattern. The bows are pin-on and sewed shut, so I can move them around as I want. All pieces are lined with a white satin with no exposed stitching or threads.
I specifically asked for either hooks/eyes or snaps for the anklets, as my own handmade ones have a very shoddy velcro strip. These stay on very well and were made to my size specifications. All ribbon ends are nicely trimmed/finished as well.

How the collar sits around the neck. I like that it is not choking me, like some of the other fawn collars I have.
From the moment of payment to the moment of item arrival, I waited approximately 1 week and a day. I believe I paid on a Monday and received the items the next Tuesday. I thought this was a very fast amount of time and I was very pleased!
Her pricing was very reasonable considering how nice the fur is (very soft, very random patterning, which I like), and the commission itself. The pieces are sturdy and aren't going to fall apart.
Great seller, would do business with again!
My next Etsy purchase was from Teja Jamilla (
http://www.etsy.com/shop/TejaJamilla; check out her FB
http://www.facebook.com/TejaJamilla for some great loli/all fashions sporting her tights in the albums). I found her through a lolita blog near the beginning of the year (I forgot the blog name, I am sorry). I purchased 3 pairs of printed tights from her:

These are black and gold nautical themed. I specifically purchased them to wear with my Rouge Aerie jsk, and I hope they go well together.
So you can see the anchors on the top of the feet. I put them on too quickly, as I was in a rush to get these pictures, so they are a bit uneven.

All tights lined up.
hand inside to stretch the pattern a bit.
Free deer pin! How lovely!
Custom packaging and a hand written note on washing/care.
I am 5 foot 5 inches with a 32 inch inseam, which is average I've read for an inseam, and I've run into problems with Taobao tights where they will hit about 2 inches too low in the crotch area. Teja's tights are comfortable and do not sit low at all. They are a medium weight, so maybe too hot for very high temp summers? The patterning is printed onto the tights, so it has a texture and is raised off of the fabric very slightly and it is very crisp and detailed. I simply love both the patterns I picked!
Teja also has a great range of sizes, as well as knee highs to pick from. Her communication during the whole exchange was amazing, and I will be purchasing from her again soon! I ordered the tights on the 5th (a Sunday) and they arrived on the 18th. So just about 10 business days for shipping. This is exactly the time she told me it usually takes for an international order, so I was expecting it, and it's really quick for out of the country, in my opinion!
If something is out of stock, she is ready and happy to let you know when the next run will be! I emailed her several times about certain styles, and usually it only took a week or so for her to restock. I believe she will even do custom things, like if you wanted a certain pattern of hers printed onto the knee highs that isn't normally printed on the knee highs, she will work with you to do it (I think!). She will also restock at your request certain sizes, or at least let you know when those sizes will be available. She set up my purchase as a little 'reserve' on her site as I needed to wait about 3 days for the nautical tights to get back in stock in my size.
According to the shop's info, the tights are Italian made and then hand screen printed for the pattern (eco-friendly inks used it states). They are a nylon lycra blend.
I normally spend only a couple of dollars on tights, but I usually buy from taobao stores, and I've had sizing issues as well as issues with runs and rips even though I am very careful. I feel Teja's prices are great (for me) due to the custom nature (these are her own designs, and I like them very much) and the weight/opacity/fit! I don't feel as if I'm going to snag them or rip them very easily, and the weight of the fabric is really perfect for most of the year where I live. These will last me a long time, and I love the colors and designs!
Thank you for your time and your kindness. I highly recommend both sellers! If anyone has any questions, I may be able to answer them.
