Latin translation

There's a management consultant at work who has a rather unusual tattoo given his role and normally keeps his shirt sleeves rolled up.  After two meetings on very hot days I managed to write it down without being seen to do so

Of course, it wouldn't surprise me if someone had done their own translation back to the latin.

I can't get it to make sense grammatically. If it was a quotation I think some of the letters may have been copied down wrongly.
