SOOOOO far away!

I have made it safely to Japan. I got here at about 2:30 PM Japan time, after one of the worlds longest days.

My day started at 5:15 AM Jacksonville time (7:15 PM Japan time), when Po took me to the airport (thanks again, Po!). My flight was running 30 minutes late, which is pushing it EXTREMELY close when you only have a one hour layover on an ( Read more... )

hooray! glad you made it safely and it was a rather uneventful trip! did you change from your flip flops into your boots when you got there?? when do you get to go to the 100 yen store?

I actually kept the flip flops on... I looked SO American! Everyone here is Japanese and wears only drab colors (khaki, black, darks..) and full shoes. I'm the girl in the airport wearing a royal blue, full length wool coat and flip flops!

Yay! Glad you had a safe trip... and you got your rings back... and made it to Jon in one piece. How romantic... the pickup at the airport! Yeah, I'm cheesy and like to picture everything as if they're scenes out of a movie. :)

Can't wait to see pictures...

So if my math is correct (which it probably isn't)... you got to Japan about 4am our time??)
