I was reading some old stuff of mine in lieu of actually creating anything new, and I came across an entry in my private written journal that made me realize how much I've changed, and it pertains to what we were talking about earlier:

I think a lot of my problems would be solved if I could just get this all out in the open. I just worry about the consequences. That's me, though, isn't it? I don't take risks because I worry about what would happen.

The fact of the matter is, I take risks and chances now, knowing that in doing so, I get great rewards. After all, the best thing that ever happened to me came from taking a huge risk and sending a certain someone a yahoo ice breaker. :)

I guess what I'm saying is, don't be afraid to let yourself take a risk. You may not succeed right away, but my gut tells me that you will, especially after your last two submissions have earned you top three placements. I've always got your back, no matter what, through all of it. Get out there and show those people what you can do, and wow them with
