No Summer Could Top The Shows Of Last Summer

So, uh, I might have mumps or cat scratch. Awesome! But, I don't know, life is pretty good, so I don't really mind. Aside from that whole swelling/pain thing. Drrrrrr.

So far I've seen Talib Kweli/MF Doom at the Showbox, and Gloria Steinem (wow, I just realized that silly mistake) at the opera house...

June

8th: Banking On Your Band @ Vera (for my internship)
12th: The Divorce @ Graceland
13th: The Fire Theft @ Showbox
14th: The Blood Brothers @ Neumo's
16th: Tomo Nakayama, Drew Victor, Greg Fleehart @ Vera (and lots of you should come, because this is the first show for my "client," (but really, friend) Greg Fleehart -- he asked me to be his manager and help him get shows this summer.)
17th: Anna Oxygen @ Vera
19th: Maritime @ Croc *
21st: Icarus Line @ Croc
25th: Some By Sea @ Graceland
26th: Garrison Keilor @ I forget where (and if I wasn't going to this, I would see The Red Light Sting @ Mural Amphitheatre)

July

1st: Fleetwood Mac @ Marymoor
2nd: Mum @ Showbox
10th: Pedro The Lion, John Vanderslice @ Showbox
17th: Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Gossip @ Showbox
28th: Sufjan Stevens @ Neumo's *

August

5th: Don Henley @ The Winery

Obviously, considering is the key word, because there are a lot of shows there. But, for once I'll be making money, so, hey, you never know. The ones in italics mean I already have tickets, the ones with a * indicate that I have to magically become 21. I wonder how I could manage that...

I love how I'm already spending money I don't have...
