Someone was screaming in the Hufflepuff dorms. While it intrigued Connor he didn't find the need to go investigate...she did not sound as if she were in pain or physical distress- girls were girls and they knew how to blow things out of proportion.

Smoothing his hair back with a sigh Connor got up from his bed where he had started to catch up with reading assignments. He fingered the time turner that he wore upon his neck before tucking it into his robes. He started towards the exit when he nearly ran into his brother. He stepped back in surprise. "What are ye doin' here?" He grinned and snagged him into a hug. Murph was unexpected but very welcome.

Murph was running at full force when he saw Connor sooner than expected. Skidding to a halt to avoid running into him, he brought his run to a halt as Connor took a step back to avoid collision. Murph hugged Connor back tightly, grateful to see his twin.

When he released the hug, Murph squirmed and scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "Well, erm. I came here t'break up with Joanna. That screamin' I'm sure ye heard was her. C'n I hide here fer a bit? I think she's gatherin' an army that wants t'fuckin' castrate me."

Connor's brows furrowed slightly and he gave Murphy a shove. "How exactly were ye breakin up with her that made her turn int' a banshee?" Shaking his head Conor led his brother back into the boys dormatory and took a seat on the bed he had taken for himself.

Invading Connor's personal space was nothing new to Murph. Without giving it any thought he plopped himself on Connor's bed in a sitting position next to his twin. "Ye know how I'm not exactly delicate with things. I pretty much jus' said hello then that I was breakin' up with her fer someone else." He shrugged, still feeling a bit nervous that he may be hexed at any second.
