okay, the people that are aware of what happened yesterday I need your opinion.

If you were in my position, would you put in your 2 weeks notice?

I would let them know that you are very upset about the allegations and the fact that they just assumed the other person was correct. Let them know that you are seriously thinking about quitting because of this but that you like the job. (i am assuming this. it seems like you like the kids and being around them but not the politics. correct me if i am wrong.) if they dont make an effort to apologize or try and find out the truth from you then i would turn in my 2 weeks. if you dont file at this point, even a small accusation later on would make me put it in without a seconds hesitation. if you need the money and like the place besides this last incident then talk to them and give it another shot. but if you dont feel like you will miss it, then just do it. they shouldnt treat anyone the way they treated you.
