I wanted to get away from the heat in Atlanta... just to bring it with me. It is going to be 102 on Friday! WTF?

Other than that, Portland has been great so far. I'm off to a Happy Hour with twenty people I haven't met yet.

there's always that one week at the end of august where it gets crazy hot in seattle. no one has air conditioning, so everyone floods the stores & buys out the entire stock of fans. 3 or 4 days later, it's over.

good timing, I guess is what I'm saying.

oh, fyi, it's been raining here & has actually been quite cool. I haven't had my air on since sometime yesterday.
