I read the first chapter of this when it went up on AO3, found it promising and made a mental note to come back to it as it continued -- but I have a really terrible memory for stuff like that, and there's been so much new fic in the fandom that it's very easy to get distracted. So today when I saw this in the "recently updated!" pile on AO3 and that it was complete, I had one of those "Oh yeah!" pings. XD

And I think I'm kind of glad that I lost track until I could read the entire thing, or else I might have been gnawing my keyboard impatiently waiting for each continuation. This is a really great story. I love pretty much everything you did with the characters, but also that you dealt with the aspect of how the team is going to be confronted by the media in a major way pretty much immediately, and that they handled that. The gratitude video from the soldier Steve talked to before he was sent home made me cry, in a good way, because that's so very very Steve

Also, I think the thoughts and emotions are the hottest part of sex scenes, honestly!
