i miss that long-ago time when i used to write here regularly... am thinking of picking it back up.

"it's been a while" feels like an understatement. i wonder if i can even get back into that headspace in which i used to be able to write all this blather.. since i was last here my internal censorship committee has gotten a lot stronger.

Hey, good to see you here too!! Stephen & I are in Seattle now... I spent a while bouncing back & forth between the two coasts (had a wonderful job in Pittsburgh that I was loath to leave) but long-distance (whether with job or Stephen) was way too tough. Which Columbia? And double-congrats to you both! =D

Thanks Laura :) We are in Columbia, Md halfway between Baltimore and DC. David is working on the next space telescope, I'm staying home for another year with our daughter River.
