I can't help you with this particular request, but I totally know what you mean!

I really wish requests like this could be made with plain brown wrappers because I do recognize the wrongness.

This is a fantastic way of putting it. The few times that wanted to read some RPS, this is exactly how I felt.

there's not really much of this around...I mean, maybe friendship stuff, but not really relationship stuff. RDJ is generally paired with Mark Ruffalo, while Tom is paired with Chris Hemsworth because...Science!Bros and Thorki, you know? And the back up pairing for Tom seems to be Benedict Cumberbatch (while RDJ gets paired with...his wife *g*)
