Frightened Rabbit / Concert
Well, after five lovely days in New York City I knew going back to work wasn't going to be particularly awesome. But I didn't expect it to suck so hard. Ugh, but it did. So I was really looking forward to Thursday night becauseohloveme and I had tickets for the Frightened Rabbit show in Newport, Ky. And Frightened Rabbit usually makes me quite happy...

It's funny you brought up the smoking -- I can't say I've recently been to a venue where smoking is allowed as it's been cold and I've only frequented indoor ones. However, now that it's almost summer and the shows are outdoor, I think I'll probably react as you did, plus loud coughing just to be obnoxious LOL
Bummy the crowd sort of ruined the atmosphere of the show for you, but I'm glad you got to see the band you love and to take such lovely photos!

Ugh I hate smoking venues so much. I do the obnoxious coughing thing all the time, but I think everyone was just already too drunk to notice ;) It was overall worth it I think!
