Well, I guess this is my first actual post in this livejournal. It was neglected in favor of mcp_hell. But obviously that's not getting much action anymore

You should get the Left of the dial cds from the library. It's a nice mix of some of the very best in punk/ambient/indie music. I personally think the first disc is the most noteworthy of the series...especially since it has Magazine's "Song from under the floorboards" which I've adopted as my current theme song. Disc 4 has Suicidal Tendencies "Institutionalized", a infamous little ditty that will make you run around shouting at things for hours after hearing it.

So seriously, if you want a crash-course in influential underground-type music, you should check it out. Literally.

In short, it's good stuff.
