Rodney's a big old orange marmalade tom, who insists on being fed only the best tuna and steak tartare. He bullies all the neighborhood dogs and spends his days in front of the window, plotting how to get that annoying bluejay.

After three years watching the show, I still adore John, but I think he would be incredibly high maintenance in a relationship. I had no problem with canon revealing he's divorced. He has no idea what to do with emotions and probably frustrated his wife right to the lawyer's office.
