Oh good! I'm just reading now and noticed that you have this paragraph, which doesn't look... well, it doesn't look right:

McKay folded his arms, dislodging Jehan's hold around him. "Yes," McKay said. "Provided they don't run into trouble between S- " Jehan hissed into his ear. Right. From the beginning? Hell, I didn't do that. Of course, I get pretty sick of my own words on a big project. One day I'll look it over from beginning to end again all at once too. (I'll probably be horrified.)

okay, I'm back, having read the whole glorious story. What a magnificent work! I was amazed at how much of SGA canon you managed to pack in there, from the stranded SuperWraith to Todd, to Kolya and the big storm and the invasion of Atlantis, to the culling of Athos and the runner, even unto getting Jehan/John bitten in the neck--though not through the Iratus bug but through Insane!Todd....and all through the mirror of your Pirate 'verse. What wonderful characters! What great adventures ( ... )

That would be a damned nice compliment. I think it's a fun story whether you're a big fan of the Stargate shows or not.

I said over on AO3 that is was the best of these that I think I've ever read. "Canon complete. Okay, what would have happened if..." Lots of gratifying turns, and Novak was such a nice surprise. And how you handled Jehan and Rodney noting how he went to his knees too gracefully, and how Rodney was everything Ba'al was not, and a different encounter with the Genii, and, and.... /flail So many little touches weaving canon with your left turn. Teyla. Sam. Just... Yeah.
