I actually watch two tv dramas last night
Howdy everybody. I hope you all are doing well. Sorry again for not saying too much on LJ, but I been busy with classes and other real life things. But things have finally settle down and since things have settle down. I had the change to watch a little tv.
Okay, it took me a year to finally see the first season of Hawthrone, but I love it and I watch the premiere of the season 2 last night. It was great and things has change for the new season. Spoliers***
It seems they are going full head on Christina and Tom romance which I love btw. It's very sweet and real how they are writing their relationship. They really get one another, but Christina still having a hard time moving on from her late husband. But I have a feeling she will be able to move on before this season is over *grins*
Christina has a rival in this season in form on the lovely Vanessa Bell Calloway. She plays Gail and she's a trip. I believe Jada and Vanessa are going to have fun playing off each other in the rivial of their characters. I feel in love with all the nurses especially Kelly because Kelly is just a sweetheart and too cute. I really enjoyed the series and give it a try if you haven't watch the show yet. Sure is typcial hosptial show, but I enjoy it because it doesn't try to be overdramatic as other hosptial shows.
Now on to Memphis Beat. Now I didn't know what to think of this show because it started Jason Lee but Afle Woodard was starting as well so I gave it a shot. I enjoy the first esp. and I hope I enjoy the rest of the season. Jason Less surprise me and I really enjoy his character. I'm hoping this is the show that replace my beloved Monk because the show has some quirkiness in it, but as much as Monk did, but just enough to make the show a nice balance of drama, comedy, and a little sweet blues on the side.
