Julien clears his throat, taking another breath. "Now... as far as this little party goes, we'll need to plan well. I'll tell Eden that I want to take him away somewhere - we'll need to figure out accommodations since it's about a six-hour drive, but trust me, the venue is perfect. The farm sits on sixty acres, so we won't be disturbed, and the maze itself is six acres. We'll invite our mortal guests first and make sure there's plenty of spiked cider for them to drink, and then we'll usher them into the maze. Ryan would perform, I hope? And of course no harm would ever come to him or his bandmates - we'll get them out of there before the real festivities begin."

"We'll rent suites in town. I'll find somewhere suitable for the entire pack, of course. I know you're not yet an expert at undead traveling, but you'll find out that it's actually quite easy to accommodate our needs." Julien's demeanor changed slightly and he nodded once, looking significantly more dangerous. "I'll make sure that we are not disturbed."
"As for what to buy him, well. Eden isn't terribly hard." Julien laughed softly. "If it is bright, or shiny, or unbelievably gauche, he will probably love it."

"I suppose I'll learn, though. About traveling, that is. Would it be weak of me to admit that I'm glad I don't have to sleep in a coffin, though?" He grinned to himself, shading the drawing he was working on. Maybe he'd simply create something for Eden's birthday instead.
In fact...
"Maybe I should just make him something." Remy said nonchalantly. He turned his computer, not for the first time showing his work to Julien, but for the first time prepared to take critique from an artist who had, indeed, been something of an idol of Remy's, before Remy had even known that Eden Frost was courting Little Devotional with his first novel.
"What do you think?"
